Honoring Juneteenth together

This Juneteenth, we celebrate the day that marked the end of slavery in the United States as well as reflect on the deep connections between racial justice and food justice. We also acknowledge the racial oppression underpinning our food system historically, including slavery in early agriculture, so that we may co-create a better food future for all of us.

Join us in uplifting Black voices, celebrating their leadership and successes, and honoring their resilience and perseverance in the face of ongoing adversity—within and beyond our food system.
