Equitable, actionable food system data to fuel community-led change
At Provecho Collective, we believe that data should be useful, usable, accessible, meaningful, and rooted in community priorities. That’s why we co-create tools that help grassroots leaders, community advocates, nonprofits, and policy leaders understand what’s happening across Colorado’s food system.
Data Dashboard
Explore key data on poverty, food insecurity, nutrition program participation (SNAP, WIC, and more), and public perceptions of hunger all in one place. We encourage you to use it to track progress and shape solutions across Colorado.
This tool also helps community organizations strengthen grant proposals and storytelling while supporting agencies and advocates in identifying trends and gaps.
Child Nutrition Story Map
This interactive map highlights access to federal child nutrition programs across Colorado, including participation and site locations for the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). It helps organizations identify gaps, spark partnerships, and advocate for continued flexibility and expanded reach.
The tool was developed and continues to be updated in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment and Colorado Department of Education.
Colorado Food System Tracker
Currently in development, this first-of-its-kind dashboard will help Coloradans see what’s working and what’s missing across our state’s food system. Designed for and with community partners, it will highlight key areas like food access, equity, economic drivers, and policy impact, offering clear visuals and data for informed decision-making.
