Creating a better food system requires the input and expertise of food coalitions and grassroots organizations that are rooted locally, lead initiatives, provide direct services, grow food, and drive change across Colorado.
Join a convening or committee
We facilitate opportunities for organizations to connect with legislators, agricultural leaders, and one another to share knowledge and advance local solutions to local problems in our food system.
Apply for funding
We use equitable grant-funding strategies to award Community Food Grants and microgrants to organizations and communities working to connect people to food.
Build knowledge and capacity
We offer training and tools to build technical skills, increase access to knowledge, and expand the reach of individuals and communities as they work toward pursuing their shared goals.Â
Champion bold policy change
We work alongside community members, food coalitions, and grassroots organizations to identify and mobilize around key policy challenges related to food sovereignty.
