As allies of our immigrant and refugee communities, we pledge to defend dignity, center people’s safety, and demand justice. We’ll also continue to share resources for communities and organizations so they know their rights and can protect personal information.

In the summer of 2024, the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger conducted an internal equity assessment to evaluate its practices and identify opportunities for growth in achieving equity. This work underscores the organization’s commitment to dismantling systemic barriers and fostering a food system that is just, responsive, and sustainable for all Coloradans.

We have officially launched our 2025 Federal Policy Platform, outlining concrete priorities that support the Blueprint’s three key initiatives of food sovereignty, nutrition program administration, and supporting Coloradans.

Since sharing and listening with compassion and empathy builds stronger connections and fosters a sense of community, the Blueprint is launching the Storyteller’s Corner in late February. On the fourth Thursday of each month, those with living and lived experiences of hunger can join us to share, listen, learn, and refine their stories.

Next Monday, we’ll commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day – reflecting and recommitting in honor of the civil rights leader who gave his life to advance equity and justice for all. Last fall, the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger proudly relaunched its Advocacy Leadership Academy with fresh content and a new name. We recently celebrated the graduation of our inaugural cohort — 12 passionate community members who successfully completed the eight-week program.
