Advocating for equity, food access & more in state Medicaid program

The Blueprint’s Connecting Food & Health Project Team is gathering sign-ons for a letter to the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing. It’s intended to show our support as advocates for a Regional Accountable Entity bid process that prioritizes: equity and inclusion, food and nutrition supports, and accountability and performance improvement in our state’s Medicaid program called Health First Colorado. This is related to the current process of Accountable Care Collaborative Phase III.

Consider signing onto this letter, especially if you’re a Medicaid member or your organization serves Medicaid members, by Friday, June 7. Please also share this opportunity with others who interact with Colorado’s Medicaid program.

If you have any questions, contact our policy director, Greta Allen.
