Initiatives & Projects

Helping communities shape a future with food for all

At Provecho Collective, we turn shared ideas into action — transforming bold visions into real solutions that nourish communities today and reimagine Colorado’s food system for tomorrow. Every initiative and project is shaped by our values and commitments, rooted in partnership, and centered on community impact.

Colorado Wholesale Producer Directory

Provecho Collective and Nourish Colorado are creating the Colorado Wholesale Producer Directory as a centralized, standardized, and accessible hub of information about Colorado producers, processors, and food intermediaries. The goal is to foster better communication and connection between institutional buyers and local producers. The Platform will…

  • Maintain an active list of Colorado Wholesale Producers and food intermediaries that are willing to sell to institutions. (original data will be pulled from LFPA, LFP, and LFS datasets)
  • Offer searchability by available product type, value-based attributes, processing types, and geographic distribution.
  • Provide a data collection feature to easily update producer/wholesaler profiles.
  • Support school districts, food pantries, ECE, governments, and hospitals in connecting with local producers who meet the requirements tied to state or federal funding.

Each of our projects reflects one or more of Provecho Collective’s core commitments. They’re shaped, timed, and tracked with community impact and food justice at the center.

We currently don’t have any active projects at this time. Find announcements in our news & updates!
