Capacity Building
While 1:1 program support is only available to CRI grantees, other menu items, trainings, and resources are available to our broader networks. Please take a look through what we offer.
What is CRI?
The Colorado Trust’s Community Resilience Initiatives (CRI) are multi-year investments to organizations and communities across Colorado addressing three strategic focus areas, including food, housing, and mental and behavioral health. Provecho Collective has been funded as a Capacity Building Assistance provider to support the 30 grantees across the Accessing Healthy Foods and Building Food Systems cohorts.Â
What Capacity-Building Means to Us
Provecho Collective builds capacity through customized, community-driven support, tailored to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. We strive to co-create this work through strong relationships and direct feedback from community-based organizations and individuals. Provecho Collective’s programmatic capacity building services include:
- Technical assistance in the form of 1:1 program development and evaluation
- Peer-led learning and connection opportunities
- Resource development
- Topical trainings
Our CRI Menus (listed below) outline many of our offerings. However, our approach remains adaptable to the needs of our community. We always value feedback, suggestions, and requests to tailor our offerings under Community Resilience Initiatives.

Grantee Testimonials
“The Cohort Connect monthly space was a great space to come together and stay connected. The facilitators were great and responsive to the needs and context of attendees. The content was informative and relevant. It was great to hear what people in the space had to share.”
“Thank you…[for presenting] to our group on the importance around data and evaluation and the powerful benefits it can bring to community efforts. Your support has been extremely helpful and practical.”
“For years, we struggled to find an easy way to capture the beautiful stories happening at [our organization]. The SOP the Provecho Collective helped our agency write was the missing piece! It’s full of helpful tips that make our staff feel confident and—most importantly—it makes sure our clients’ voices are shared in a way that feels right to them.”
