2025 Impact Report – Looking Back, Moving Forward

This year brought significant change for our communities, Colorado’s food system, and our organization. As we all navigated uncertainty with a new presidential administration and state budget shortfalls, 2025 reminded us that progress isn’t linear — but lasting change is possible when we move forward together. Through it all, we were grounded by what holds us steady: connection, collaboration, and the power of collective action to ensure food for all, today and tomorrow.

As we look back on a year shaped by uncertainty, but also by resilience and community power, we want to share Provecho Collective’s 2025 impact report with you. It highlights:

  • Why we evolved from the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger to Provecho Collective
  • The realities behind Colorado’s food system – and where we’re headed in 2026
  • Provecho Collective by the numbers, highlighting our statewide network, committees and convenings, and how we’re living our value of language justice
  • Nearly 70 food pantries and food banks funded through Community Food Grants to champion local agriculture and increase access to nourishing, culturally relevant food
  • Community-centered policy and advocacy priorities, such as advancing state bills like Restaurant Meals Program and coordinating network action to safeguard nutrition programs like SNAP during federal disruptions
  • Capacity-building support for local organizations via trainings, coaching, technical assistance, and new tools like our resilience planning guide
  • Uplifting community voices and leadership through our committees, Storytellers’ Corner, and Advocacy Leadership Academy
  • Support for immigrant communities by hosting organizational safeguard trainings and other resources during a time of heightened risk — with additional efforts underway for 2026
  • Data and technology leadership, including an updated statewide dashboard and child nutrition story map

We know that transforming Colorado’s food system starts with who’s at the table.

Thank you to all of our network collaborators, funders, and Advisory Board members for taking a seat and joining us in this work. Only together can we ensure people across Colorado get the food they need today while building a better food future for tomorrow.

We look forward to continuing this work alongside you in the year ahead.
